| Introduction: | Research of the group is directed towards the
rational synthesis of juvenile hormone (e.g. Methoprene) and insect pheromones,
which can be used in the integrated environmental protection. They are also
dealing with the preparation of new UVA light protective agents (e.g.
benzotriazine and imidazo[1,2-a]pyrimidine
derivatives), and the elaboration of new complex
sigmatropic rearrangements, and their application for the preparation of novel heterocyclic compounds. |
