Foundation of Varga József BME VBK - „Servier Beregi” Fellowship

The Foundation of Varga József (BME Faculty of Chemical Technology and Biotechnology; Varga Jozsef Foundation) announces the annual call for the Beregi Fellowship sponsored by Servier Research Institute. All doctoral candidates admitted of the Oláh György PhD School from 2023 spring semester are eligible to apply. Applications in fields related to the pharmaceutical industry are treated preferentially during the selection process. 

Each year the Beregi Fellowship is awarded to an outstanding first-year doctoral candidate who holds it for a maximum of four years (48 months). The Beregi Fellowship is 140,000 and 180,000 HUF per month for the first and second 24 months of the PhD studies, respectively. For each semester during the tenure of the fellowship the recipients of the prestigious Beregi Fellowships are entitled for a bench fee of 500,000 HUF to support their research.

The application procedure is quite simple, the following package must be sent to Ms. Evelin Bell (bell.evelin@vbk.bme.hu) by 12 March 2023, 23:59 h:
- detailed CV with a list of publications,
- a one-page detailed work plan of the research envisioned during the PhD studies.

All materials must be submitted in English.
