Introduction
The Department of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry, BME (http://iaachem.bme.hu/en) has a long tradition, being the first chemistry department of the university. The department has 25 full time employees (5 full and 7 associate professors), and the total number of co-workers is 80, including the researchers of two research groups of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the retired but still active colleagues. Four co-workers are full members of the Academy, and the number of young employees (under 35) is more than 30.
